Dependancy Proceedings

There are circumstances that lead to the removal of a child from parents, these children are placed as a dependent in the juvenile court. Our office is focused on this type of proceedings in Long Beach California. Some of the grounds for this to happen include: the removal of children who have suffered or are likely to suffer neglect or abuse. Other situations include the inability of the parent/guardian to provide care due to mental illness, developmental disability, or substance abuse problem. A child may also become a dependent of the court if the child's parent has become arrested/imprisoned or institutionalized and has been unable to arrange for care of the child during that time.

A power of attorney is a legal document prepared by a licensed attorney that states, that you give someone else (often a relative or friend) the authority to make specific decisions and act on your behalf in certain circumstances. The person you give authority to does not have to be lawyer or attorney, it can be anyone that you trust to execute your wishes when you can not. More...

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
